So i was asked to look into this Elastic Search cluster using ROR with Elastic 7.15.0. I noticed that for some reason the readonlyrest.yml wasn’t updating when i restarted elasticsearch, so i deleted the .readonlyrest index and restarted elasticsearch. For some reason it isn’t doing the “ADDING BLOCK” after it tries to read the file from the OS. It just fails to start, if i remove readonly rest elasticsearch works just fine.
I upgraded to ROR 1.38.0 and it works just fine now.
